How does Kloudfuse pricing work?
Kloudfuse is priced on data ingested — you pick the ingestion tier that covers your daily volume in TB/day and pay one fixed annual price for it, across logs, metrics, traces, events and RUM. There are no per-host, per-APM-host, per-custom-metric or per-user charges. Because Kloudfuse runs inside your own cloud account, you also pay your cloud provider directly for the underlying compute and storage (BYOC).
What counts toward your ingested volume?
Every telemetry signal you send to Kloudfuse: application, infrastructure and audit logs, metrics time-series, distributed traces, real-user-monitoring sessions, continuous profiles and events, measured in TB per day. Unlike per-series or per-host SaaS pricing, high-cardinality metrics and extra hosts do not create new billing dimensions. Only the volume matters, and only because it decides your tier.
Why is Kloudfuse cost more predictable?
Usage-based SaaS bills move on several independent axes at once: hosts, APM hosts, custom metrics, sessions, seats, retention. Kloudfuse resolves all of that into a single ingestion tier. Adding nodes, raising cardinality or onboarding more engineers does not introduce a separate meter, and your platform price holds until your volume crosses into the next band.
