Kloudfuse Raises $23M to Empower Modern Enterprises with Next-Gen Cloud Observability, Automation and AI Troubleshooting

Industry Leaders such as Workday, GE Digital Healthcare, Automation Anywhere, Eltropy and Tata Partner with Kloudfuse to Improve Control, Costs and Cardinality of Data

November 6, 2023 - Kloudfuse, the next-gen observability datalake, today announced its launch out of stealth with $23M in funding to help enterprises improve their control, costs and cardinality of data. Funding includes a recent $17M Series A round led by iconic founders from Silicon Valley, with participation from existing investors Blumberg Capital and Aspenwood Ventures, as well as new investors HighSage Venture.

Industry leaders such as Workday, GE Digital Healthcare, Automation Anywhere, Tata and Eltropy partner with Kloudfuse to address the growing demand for unified cloud observability, automation and AI troubleshooting. With Kloudfuse, customers can improve the unification of their observability data to achieve better performance and scale of the observability stack, and enhance the efficiency of monitoring, troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Enterprises across industries such as healthcare, technology, fintech and security are transitioning to Kloudfuse from traditional observability providers to better address concerns around high cardinality, large data volume, high SaaS observability costs, and lack of control.

Kloudfuse helps enterprises address the 3Cs of observability data:

  • Control - Not a single byte of observability data leaves the customer VPC, but still completely managed by Kloudfuse control plane.

  • Cost - Targeting 10-20x reduction of observability bills with Kloudfuse

  • Cardinality - 1B+ cardinality for metrics, multi-petabytes for logs and millions of traces

GE Digital Healthcare’s head of cloud operations and observability said, “Kloudfuse’s unified observability datalake was deployed within the GE Healthcare VPC so that all MELT data was completely secure and compliant, significantly reducing the cost of the overall solution for increased volume of data.”

Gartner projects that the market for APM and observability will reach an estimated $8.4B by 2026, with a 8.6% compound annual growth rate between 2020 and 2026, as mobile, cloud-native applications and workload migrations to cloud architectures continue to grow.

Kloudfuse is founded by CEO Krishna Yadappanavar, CTO Pankaj Thakkar and Chief Architect Ashish Hanwadikar, with the mission of making unified cloud observability more accessible and scalable to enterprises. Krishna previously co-founded and sold Springpath, a pioneer in hyper-convergence software, to Cisco in 2017. Pankaj played a pioneer role at Nicira, that kickstarted the software defined networking movement and the company was acquired by VMWare for $1.3 billion. Ashish was the management architect and founding team member at Springpath. Kloudfuse will use the new capital to accelerate the development of its unified observability datalake and expand its product management, marketing and sales teams.

“We built Kloudfuse to help developers, DevOps and SREs, who historically have spent significant amounts of time managing observability, troubleshooting data and analytics, with limited automation,” said Yadappanavar. “Our mission is to make unified cloud observability more accessible and scalable to enterprises, enabling them to handle increased cardinality, gain more control and reduce costs. Since raising our initial Seed funding, we’ve addressed valuable feedback from enterprises across industries, transitioned many of them onto the Kloudfuse platform and quickly delivered value.”

Please come and visit us at booth L34, Kubecon held from November 6 through November 10 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

You can sign up for a free account, and get immediate value by running an observability datalake within your VPC in your environment. If you want unlimited observability with limited cost, feel free to browse our docs, reach out to us, or join our Slack community.
